Annie and Martie came over to build some delicious gingerbread houses with Katie and I. It was a fun-filled evening with such wonderful friends! At the end of the night Drew was the judge.... results to follow.
Gingerbread house making and eating materials
Martie's house (Santa's Party House) - 2nd place
Katie (Santa's Mountain Home) and I (Santa's All-Inclusive Resort) tied for 3rd place. Drew was being nice and didn't want anyone to get last!
Cookie Decorating! I was so excited to do this fun project with Syd, and had hoped she could help decorate cookies for some friends. However, I wasn't really surprised when her first dip into the icing went straight into her mouth instead of onto the cookie:)
Sydney's finished product
Matthew 1:21 "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
Phil 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

That looks like a fun thing to do with friends. Love the 4 different houses....you know Santa has all kinds of cribs :) We are just now to the point with the kids that more icing goes on the cookie than in their mouths :)
I vote for Santa's mountain home!
So creative! Wish I could have been there to decorate with you. Those are great gingerbread houses!!
Merry Christmas to the Clemmons family!
I am proud of you for doing gingerbread houses! Good job! Looks fun. =) You must have learned all your gingerbread house making skills when you were in Ohio.
